Peacock feathers – It’s all show, isn’t it?

Most of us reading this post enjoy a decent salary, right? But often, the inclination to flaunt our wealth becomes our Achilles heel. Here’s the hard truth – spending money to show off how much money you have is essentially the fastest way to have less money.

Building wealth isn’t about feeding our ego with extravagant purchases. It’s about creating a comfortable gap between our income and our egos. Yes, we should enjoy our earnings, indulge in experiences, and purchase things we love. But, the key to accumulating wealth? Keeping that ego in check. đź’ˇ

Now, I’m not suggesting a major lifestyle overhaul or suppressing your ego to the point of discontent. But remember, no one is as impressed with what you have than you. When you buy a new car, no one thinking…how cool you look driving that new car…instead they are visualizing themselves driving that car.

So, the next time your ego guides your wallet, halt, reflect, and reconsider.

Thoughts? How do you strike a balance between living your best life and best managing your wealth? Share your insights below! 🤔💭
